primetimepreschool PRIME TIME Preschool Returns This Fall
Beginning October 8, 2019, DeKalb County Public Library will start the 3rd round of PRIME TIME Preschool (PTPS), an early literacy program specifically designed for 3 and 4 year olds. The weekly sessions include storytelling, reading, and center based exploration featuring award-winning children’s books conducted by early childhood trained facilitators. Families of three and four year olds can attend one of six sessions offered at the Flat Shoals, Redan-Trotti, Scott Candler or Wesley Chapel Library locations.
e-read kids E-Read Kids
Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) is proud to launch eRead Kids, a new digital library available through all 407 public libraries in the state. The collection of almost 15,000 electronic and audio books is for children from pre-k through fourth grade. All Georgia families now can freely check out electronic books for their devices.  Click here for more information. 
after school After School Extended Day Program (ASEDP)
The purpose of the ASEDP is to provide after school care for resident students that include academic, cultural, enrichment and recreational activities.  All activities are offered in a safe, nurturing environment and support student achievement through new experiences that will build self-esteem and character.  Click here more information. 
dcsd CEP Program
Effective for the 2019-2020 school year, Hambrick Elementary School has been selected to participate in the DCSD Nutritution Services CEP Program.  All students are eligible to receive breakfast, lunch and after school snacks at no cost.  Click here to visit DCSD School Nutrition website.  
365 Microsoft Student Advantage
DeKalb County School District provides the Microsoft Student Advantage Program to students and parents. This program provides free access to Office 365 Pro Plus for students enrolled in school districts that purchase enterprise-level licenses. Click here for instructions on how to download this software.
